Tel Number 01243 642122. Before you book and pay the registrars, make sure that both the venue you're have chosen for your ceremony and reception afterwards are available and are provisionally held. The hire prices at the Town Hall do not include the Registrars fee, this must be arranged separately. Please note that Registrars do not reside at Arundel Town Hall, and are the only organisation that can conduct the civil ceremonies here.
They get booked up very quickly!
The Town Hall can accommodate 5 parking places for the Ceremony only. However we advise for a fully exclusive event, these spaces are kept free for your suppliers! There are many car parks all within an easy 5 to10 minute walking distance, namely Crown Yard Car Park, Lido Swimming Pool Car Park and Mill Road Car Park.
Please feel free to choose whoever you like, as long as they adhere to our terms and conditions. We have a list with some personal recommendations, if you would like any help or suggestions/ideas.
There is no corkage charge made by the Town Hall. If you have a pay bar in the evening, then the operator must have a personal Licence. Arundel Town Hall has a premises licence which allows you to dance and have alcohol served till 11.00pm. If you wish to extend this to Midnight, then the Town Hall can apply.

This provides a double sink and draining unit, wine chiller, dishwasher, and stainless steel work unit all available for your caterers to use. N.B. They must adhere to the terms and conditions of hire.
There is a ramp accessing entrance from the street. There are only disabled toilets, on the ground floor. There is lift to access to the Atherley Chamber, but not onto the Terrace or down to the Holmes Chamber.
Garland of Flowers up the Stone Staircase
The popular garland of flowers (cream and white roses entwined with ivy) up the staircase from Foyer to Atherley Chamber is included in the hire. Some Bridal couples choose to add twinkly lights or organza sashes to it for an evening reception. It is feasible to remove if you want to pay for a fresh flower garland to be installed.
Hire of Glass Ware and Platters for Civil Ceremonies only
We have jugs, highballs, and flutes available for couples who wish to celebrate with a drink after the ceremony, before moving onto their reception venue. We also have some platters if you so wish to serve any canapés. We will wash everything up afterwards and is included in the Ceremony Hire.
